Electrifying Fists of Fury – PRELUDE

Nocturn: “The Chinese philosopher Sun Tzu once said that secret operations are essential in war. Without them, the army would not be able to make a single move.”

Brain: “But what if you are on the receiving end of that espionage? The answer should be obvious: Outsmart the spies and beat them into submission.”

Nocturn: “And there’s no one as acquainted with that strategy as today’s fierce combatants.”

Brain: “Yevgeny Borisovitch Volgin, the Soviet Colonel who outmuscled Big Boss.”

Nocturn: “And Bryan Fury, Doctor Abel’s Wicked Replicant.”

Brain: “We’re Nocturn and Brain, and it’s our job to analyze their weapons, feats, and abilities in order to determine who would win a DEATH BATTLE!”

Operation Morioh Town – PRELUDE

Nocturn: “Evil comes in many ways, shapes, and forms. But for most people, the most terrifying kind of evil is the one that is unknown to them.”

Brain: “Naturally, those who do bad deeds would rather stay hidden in the shadows, such as today’s combatants.”

Nocturn: “Yoshikage Kira, the serial killer of Morioh Town.”

Brain: “And Albert Wesker, Umbrella’s undercover agent.”

Nocturn: “We’re Nocturn and Brain, and we’re going to analyze their weapons, skills, and feats in order to determine who would win a DEATH BATTLE!”

Nocverse Lore: The story so far

Note: This is obviously meant to be about the fights that I’ve written, not the official show.

“In an infinite Multiverse, there is no such thing as fiction.”
-Scott Adsit

Within every word ever written exists an infinite amount of possibilities. What we see with our own eyes is what we call reality, but who’s to say that the things we create and the stories we make up aren’t happening somewhere else? Surely, every writer of fiction has had a thought like that at some point. Even if we ignore the current impossibility of things like humans with superpowers, there exists a world where all the things we write take place. In the belief of the ancient philosopher Plato, this world would be known as the World of Ideas.

This World of Ideas is where the perfect versions of what exists in the material world reside. A perfect and infinite world where every being, real or fictional takes its most natural form. No human or god can alter those perfect values… But can an Idea alter another Idea? Many characters in fiction are able to manipulate the very concept of something or someone. Is it really that far-fetched that a character like that could disturb the balance of the ideal world and cross that boundary that separates reality and fiction?

This story is about how a simple writer’s idealized crossovers brought a repeated cycle of ruin and salvation to one of the many multiverses, one where the fictional characters that others have created became real people with circumstances of their own. Ideas roaming in a materialistic world in a battle to survive against other ideas whose circumstances overlapped with theirs.

Magnetic Pull – PRELUDE

Nocturn: “Magnetism. A physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, which results in attractive and repulsive forces between objects.”

Brain: “A power such as this one can have a wide variety of uses. Some may use it to protect, but others will simply abuse its massive destructive potential.”

Nocturn: “Representing the heroes’ side, we have Pyrrha Nikos, the Invincible Girl of Beacon Academy.”

Brain: “And on the villains’ side, there’s Monsoon, the nihilistic cyborg ninja of the Winds of Destruction.”

Nocturn: “Today, we will analyze their weapons, powers, and feats in order to determine which one of these magnetokinetics would triumph over the other in a DEATH BATTLE!”

If Everyone isn’t Special… – PRELUDE

DISCLAIMER: This is an old fight that was written several years ago, so things might be a little outdated.

Nocturn: “Power is something that many people crave. But what would happen if a completely normal teenager had the power to face humanity’s biggest threats?”

Brain: “Absolute chaos, most likely. But we’re not here to talk about that. Today, two deadly teenagers will show what they’re made of in an all-out battle to the death!”

Nocturn: “Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, the Quirkless successor to All Might!”

Brain: “And Shigeo Kageyama, also known as Mob, the psychic apprentice of Reigen Arataka.”

Nocturn: We’re Nocturn and Brain, and it’s our job to analyze and compare these two combatants’ feats, powers and arsenals, in order to determine who would win a DEATH BATTLE!

Welcome to the Nocverse!

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Nocverse, my personal page for all kinds of creative activities, mostly related to VS debating and whatnot.

You might be wondering… Why did I make this page? Simple, because I used to write on DeviantArt and its redesign essentially screwed over all VS writers.

What to expect from this page:

  • Written researched battles between fictional characters (Death Battle!)
  • Non-researched written battles (DBX!)
  • A ton of lore.
  • Profiles for characters in a VS context. (Bios)
  • My art!
